FIGHT MARKETS, EXPLAINED

A budget for following a fight card

Decide the maximum amount and time you are willing to spend before the first bout. A budget does not create a profitable betting system.

Make losses affordable

Exclude money needed for bills, debt repayments or essential savings. Do not treat a bookmaker balance or a volatile token balance as spare income.

Avoid recovery staking

Increasing a stake after losing changes the risk of the next bet without changing the fighter’s chance. A long card can turn many small decisions into substantial total exposure.

Record the whole cost

Include transfers, conversion and fees alongside stakes. Stop at the limit you chose; an attractive-looking final bout is not a reason to reopen it.
